The Run Down:

Step 1: Bring a date or some friends and family

Step 2: Order a classic cocktail and then switch over to some natural wine (your server will be thrilled to help, we are all wine geeks)

Step 3: Order a few dishes to share for the table - they are all priced and sized to share.  Food is served as-it-comes from the kitchen and made with love using the best ingredients we can get our hands on.  Order more wine.

Step 4: Try some Ice Cream and pass those around, too.

Step 5: Come back soon

FAQ:

Do you take reservations? Due to the size of the dining room, we are unable to accept reservations.  We are first-come/first-served.  We are unable to seat incomplete parties.  As a small, neighborhood joint that encourages conviviality and community, we hope everyone enjoys the bustling atmosphere and intimate seating.

Do you have any vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free/etc. options? Yes!  Our menu changes frequently, but we do our absolute best to be conscious of guests' dietary restrictions, preferences, and allergies.  Please alert your sever to your dietary restriction, and they will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Do you use MSG? No

Where do we park? Guests may park in any of the spaces along the front of our building.  Additionally, guests may park along the streets of Milledge Circle, Milledge Terrace, and after 5pm, in the rear parking lots of BMA and Blonde Hair Salon.

Can I eat at the bar? Absolutely.

I have a large party...? We are more than happy to do whatever we can to accommodate your large party.  However, we are a small restaurant so tables fill up quickly.  The best way to work around this is to call ahead so we may have a "heads up". Unfortunately, we cannot make any guarantees, but it will provide us the opportunity to accommodate you to the best of our ability.

Donna Chang’s began as an idea created in the back yard of Shae and Ryan Sims over a home-made bowl of General Tso’s Chicken. After time spent living outside of Athens, the couple returned home with the passion to open up a small, neighborhood restaurant.  Chinese would be the cuisine. Classic cocktails, natural wines, and beers from home and abroad would make up the bar.

Guests of Donna Chang’s can come in and grab a quick bowl of noodles washed down with a beer or make a night of it with friends - popping bottles of bubbly and feasting on family-style dishes coming out of the small kitchen.

Above all else, they hoped to create a fun, hospitable atmosphere free of pretense and full of good feelings!
